Last May I went on a "mama only" trip to the West coast to visit my parents & brother. It was a fast little getaway, mainly to check in on my mom who wasn't well at the time. It was different to go alone, I felt like I was missing something & I was totally out of my comfort zone. On the other hand it was nice to have just that time together to visit and laugh and be there.
Without a doubt this was my favorite resturant in Horseshoe Bay British Columbia. The Boathouse, it was by far one of the best seafood resturants I've been to and will return there again in a heartbeat.
It was such an easy relaxing atmosphere by the water looking out the windows to see the ferries ride in & out. It was so nice to catch up with my family and enjoy great talks, laughs, seafood & beers.
Another highlight was our visit to Capilano Bridge, I was extremely against going at first due to my fear of heights. Turns out it was too beautiful to pass up.
I was so in awe of the 400 year old Red Cedars, Its an amazingly preserved forest. So amazed by mother nature! loved this trip there was so many many more photo's from this trip in May 2013 I will be putting together a little mini book about it soon. Thanks for reading my Missing the Coast.
Love the pics! I'm from and live in Vancouver and agree the boathouse rocks! The views, mountains water are all why I love living in bc! Love your scrapbooking style too! Thanks for sharing
