Project Life |Week 48

Continuing the wrap up of 2014 Here & a little peek at my PL | Week 48 and what life looks like during this week. Midnight edition + Seafoam edition used. I feel when there is so much overlap in projects I just want to get it all done - But then I wait and remember ... Slowing down to Really tell our stories. These last few weeks along with December Daily + prep of 2015 album + joining in One little word again this year (reveal my word today - later post).

This week Ethan & I had eye exams and even though the experience with the reception was less than awesome ... the overall appointments were great for both of us, only a slight change in my perscription (thank goodness, I am already -5) and no change for Ethan at all ( also thank goodness he has his great vision). 

This page at the top right pocket I used an Ali Edwards, "beautiful fantastic imperfect" stamp set in digital format. 

Again I added in a few wood veneers to the pages and that "hello sunshine" is a Studio Calico piece from a past kit. That wraps up another week. Love all the journaling I got into this spread as the journaling part is not always big part of my spreads - sometimes I just want the photo's to be the story ... but I am working on bringing in more words.

Project Life | Week 49

As we close up this wonderful time of the year and say goodbye to 2014 & welcome 2015 there is a large percentage that I have projects overlapping and that means more photo's to print yes, but also more stories to tell. 

Above is my Project Life spread for week 49 and the big difference her in this week was that I hand written over the transparent divider ( normally painted ) and this was super fun to do as I wanted to add in more words to this particular spread. 

 

Close up view of the cards this week I used some of Liz Tamanaha's december faves & paired that with the Midnight edition (still a strong fave kit of mine). 

It was also super fun to include some December Daily stamps from 2013 kit "CHEERS" was one of them & I love that this week was the traditional get the family christmas tree week. 

On the Favorite things card I added in more date stamping, love doing that + love the look of it when it's done. Also you can see that transparent divider a little better here too.

LOVE this magical time of year! 

As the days of celebration are winding down & we all settle in with our new toys and head back into routines I am happy to be closing up this year and jumping into a new one ... Totally ready to start another year of DOCUMENTING and sharing our little story - because it matters. There might be a time when I don't document with Project Life but Very unlikely.

Where things are ...

I feel like the other part of that title should say "where things are ... where things are going" as we get closer to the end of the year here & ring in a New one again. So I am wrapping up a whole wack load of projects ... photographing them and edits for various uploads and shares. 

First off wrapping up an amazing Creative Team Year with Becky Higgins and man I can say that this year on her team just blasted past me, I loved the team that I was able to share this year with & hope to keep in touch with them as we all break off into other directions from here. I loved the generosity of Becky and Kari when I asked them to do me a favor and help out a friend dealing with her daughter in chemotherapy, Oh did they deliver! THANK YOU Becky & Kari for that so much!

I loved that I was able to share each month & Inspire many ... it is always awesome to hear that I ACTUALLY did inspire a few of you out there many many THANK YOU(s) too all my readers here and on Instagram I am humbled! I never imagined that when starting PL that it woud be such a HUGE part of my life & take me where it has ... I am so ready to go where ever it may take me! I hope that YOU all still follow my journey of sharing and HA teaching my first ever class this past year was a BIG learning experience for me and so very very honoured to be a part of that! 

Thank you Becky for trusting in me to inspire & share and inviting me into your Project Life family ... for life! I Still remember getting that first email from you and that feeling of " NO WAY ... Becky Higgins just emailed me" It was a true BEST moment for me!! Thank you for an amazing year my friends ... keep being awesome! 

Now that a New Year is around the corner I always seem to have the need to finish up and look at the approach for the new year albums a whole lot is always the same I document weekly (always) so that will stick & the rest is just deciding on album colours and title page and kits and a whole lot of organizing my space and if you took that BPC class then you have an idea of what that means ... if you didn't then it means pulling kits out and organizing them into sets that I like. 

As I get into documenting my sixth year with Project Life system I have seen so much change in this community and with PL so so happy for all of it and so the success of PL - I still need to streamline the amount of product I use ... I just work better that way! In the next few days I will wrap up my 2014 album and share here & also my December daily album too skipping over Christmas time but return before the New Year and at that time I will reveal my 2015 opening page and plans on that Album.

Project Life | week 45

Hello December? Where did this year go? We are welcoming in December with open arms and hearts around here and today I would like to share my PL week 45 with you, I recently shared this on my friend Liz Tamanaha's blog found here.

Project Life | Week 46.

So it's been awhile since I shared a recent PL spread and this feels very good to get done and get ahead again ... I am teaching a class called catch up with Project Life Over at Big Picture Classes, but I also practise what I am preaching over there and I am getting caught up with my weeks too. 

Week 46.

True Story card is from a Studio Calico kit. "for the love of" stamp is a Elise Blaha Cripe stamp.

Date stamp & wood veneers (of course).

Make more card is another Studio Calico card.

Date stamp and wood veneers on both the photo & card.

Black stripe card is from Midnight Edition with a "noted" veneer attached with tiny attacher.

I am still using and loving these white tabs to add little journal on the photos.

Another week wrapped up and this year is nearly done ... which is so crazy! I know it's feeling that way for a lot of us. Work and school is so busy then through in kids activities and projects, and of course christmas around the corner!

Project Life | Week 42

Hey guy's I am so in disbelief that it's already November and that I am sharing week 42 with you all today (which is Oct 13-19th) and YES I am "behind" as well. I know how hard it can be sometimes and that there is only so many hours in a day/week/month - we all get there. 

Here is the right side page of the week 42, October is that month that has so much change on it's own with weather and the garden + trees I find it so so beautiful and at times breathtaking. We kept things pretty simple here and as usual handled the crazy schedules of daily work and kids activities ... man the weeks are sailing away.

Of course there is always time in the kitchen and this is my little helper (making pizza dough) with mama and I can see that she will always be my little helper here & as for the boy's ... well that's not gonna happen. 

Love that quote I had received in an email fro "The universe"  sometimes that thing is so bang on it's scary and much appreciated all at the same time. 

 

Left side and I used an Ali Edwards brush this week from her new collection on her site called story bubbles So fun to use!

No week is complete with out the coffee shot! love how these always pop up!

We were surprised to see that we still had a few tomatoes hanging on in the garden. 

Another awesome thing from the garden this week was the three pumpkins that we planted back in May and watched for and hoped that they would take off as the ones from last year didn't do that great. Ava was so so excited to finally hold one & it was just her size! 

Another week down & I am doing my own catch up in the next few days ... If you had not yet signed up for the Big Picture Classes you still have time the registration has been extended until November 19th !!!
