I joined along with Ali Edwards once again this year for her Day in the life documenting series, Only I changed it from May the 8th to May the 9th due to work and strict no photo's & no phone's while working.
So here is my Day in the life in photo's Starting with the one above at 6:15 am Ava wakes up calling for me from her room & I get up with her. She lays on the couch a few more minutes to get totally awake while I am checking favorite blogs + picking out a few pic's for Project life content.
6:30 am - Showering while Tyler & Ethan are still sleeping and Ava is now watching Littlest pet shop on netflix.
8:24 am - Everyone is awake, fed, dressed, lunches made and I am opening the garage ready to take Ethan to school while Ava stay's home with Dad (we are both off today).
8:35 am - Quick kiss goodbye in the van (because he won't let me do this in the school yard in front of his friends) have a great day "Do your best & see you at the track meet" as he leaves.
9:12 am - Back home & filling up my travel mug with second cup of coffee and getting us ready to head out to Ethan's track meet.
9:45 am - Arrived at the University Of Manitoba to watch Ethan's track meet.
10:30 am - Ethan running relay race & already got 2nd place for 600m placing in Divisonals.
Of course Ava had to get into the racing action & I love her racing face!
12:30 pm - I leave the track meet to go home and let the dog out & do stuff around the house, Tyler and Ava stay behind to finish cheering on Ethan. The dog loves the sun!
1:56 pm - Had a bite to eat & made beds, now getting to that pile of printed photo's for Project Life from this mornings pickings.
Working on Project Life and realizing that my blade is super dull and garbage now. off to the store I go.
Stop to get gas.
2 ish - (starting to loose track of timeline here). Detour from the craft store to the garden center and finding the place in my heart that I have been waiting for all winter long ... hello again plants!!
Tomatoes are here!! not buying them yet though, resist it. resist it.
Seriously loved this!!
3:26 pm - Everyone is back home again and I am finishing the cleaning & checking the dog's dish - still ok. Laundry collected.
4:20 pm - Just getting to the dishes & I am ready for a nap, but still have ton's to do. Tyler leaves with Ava to get pizza's tonight.
4:50 pm - Sqeezing in a few stitches on the machine - feels great.
5:15 pm - Pizza & Ice Cream on the deck tonight. Not the healthiest combo but after today's events it was deserved.

6:13 pm - Ava helps me in the backyard, when did she get so tall?
making piles of dead grass and leaves so nice to finally see green grass underneath!!
6:45 pm - Drink with a good friend & great conversations!! love this tonic water!
9:30 pm - iphone and camera batteries both dead and missing last shots watched the Secret life of Walter Mitty on itunes with Ethan he is still awake, but I fell asleep on the couch with him. He said it was a great show I will watch it again tomorrow.
11:30 pm - Off to bed!
I can not express how much I love this series, to get to the end of a long documented day and see how life unfolds to me is totally the whole reason I love to document in the first place.
