This week I had received a very good mail day, I had placed my order on October 6th for this years annual December Daily created by Ali Edwards & joined with Studio calico for the supplies hit both those links for more info on this years kit. I love it.
I have been doing December daily awhile now this year is my fourth album and one thing I will probably stick with for life. I love looking back at the past years albums and seeing those big changes in our lives from one year to the next. It's mainly the changes in the kids that stands out to me I will mostly comment on how small Ava is and how much Ethan is changing into a young man. It's the little things like where we lived that year or what was going on at that time in our lives. So many great things to remember.
Last year I didn't purchase a kit for my December Daily and that's ok ... I made it work to what I wanted it to be, I used Liz Tamanaha Designs (adore her designs) I used some paper & ink designs that I created and I used Ali Edwards templates and Journal cards.
Although I has taken me an extreamly unusual time to wrap up this project mainly due to our move last year into this house, We moved 2 days before christmas yep 2 days!! so that was the big wrench in my documenting roll that I was on But don't regret the move at all. I am nearly done before we start up this years. Here is my 2012 December Daily.
I can't say enough on how much I love this project it's up there with Week in the life and Project Life. I really am looking forward to what designs will be out this year & I will incorporate some of these papers I created "peace & joy" but believe me it is easy to get overwhelmed with all the awesome designers out there - my rule of thumb is to collect supplies, create a plan and go, After I created that plan I try not to add more designer stuff. Again that's just me.
