Hard to believe that with this week 51 post that will nearly end this years album and I will put a big bow on it and say it was a pretty amazingly beautiful year we had Here at no.30!!
Week 51 was the pre-Christmas prep getting ready for the BIG week ahead and welcoming my parents and brother from Vancouver. It was a little business as usual and a little pre xmas excitement. I needed an insert for sure this week and I decided to try out a smaller than usual grid made the cards and photo's 2.5x2.5 size on photoshop and printed at home all on one sheet.
I love how thick this book became, Of course this is only part of the year and I think that I will have to do the same thing again next year in my 2014 album.
loving all the parts of this time of the year, the gatherings, the laughter that follows that, the food, the drinks are all so very good to regroup and carry us until the next time we get together (with my parents and brother that is usually only twice a year).
Right side page was a full 12x12 again, and I am in love with this size. Our tree got a full page and placed a title label from Martha Stewart line on there and cut in half to divide it.
I used Seafoam edition, Midnightedition, and Oh snap boutique for "love Christmas" card.
I never imagined where this year would take me in this Project and I am thrilled that It has. I will also do another post on this years wrap up of 2013 Project Life spreads. Onto Week 52 ....

Home today sick with a sinus infection, on meds & one little guy that is also home sick. Yuck is all I can say to discribe this ... lemon tea on the go, but feel like I was hit by a truck. In between sleeps I thought I would break the rut of non-post's.
Life is far too busy right now but one thing always remains I LOVE Project Life!! Even though I have fallen behind in the process and haven't shared much on here, I still Love this project and truth be told wish it was my full time job - Ha what a dream that would be. But even in a hectic family schedule and full time work life I have proven to myself that I CAN still do this and manage to document our life my way!!
I love where this year has gone so far - Grateful for so so much and hope to continue that in 2014. Wishing for a little more slow, a little less hectic and a little change up to soothe my creative soul & looking forward to continuing on with Project Life in 2014.
-Back to rest.

PROJECT LIFE : WEEK 26
Week 26 of Project life is completed and with each week I am a more & more surprised with how fast this year is going.
This week highlighted the end of grade 3 for Ethan and end of his time enrolled in that school, new school in September and we all have mixed feelings about it. I love that summer is here and that we are outside on the deck enjoying the pool (inflatable kiddie size) & sprinkler & garden.
I took the kids to see Monsters U this past weekend and we all loved it - Husband was away for four days on guy's fishing trip, I managed to keep all three of us entertained and happy without too many meltdowns.
One of my favorite things about Project life is that I can pop in captures of the kids creations for quick reminders of how they see the world. love this drawing from ava this week.
With that I finished Vol.1 of this years documenting & finished off with a large full photo split. I have been wanting to do this for about a year or more maybe, but it felt right to end this part of the album like this.
* I use Both Seafoam edition and Midnight editions you can find them on Becky Higgins website to find out how to purchase these kits.

Project life where I started.
Project life is one of my most favorite ways to document my life. I started this project life back in 2011 after doing one of Ali Edwards week in the life & December Daily projects and loved that I was documenting my everyday life in both those projects but once the week was over or the month of December passed it left me wishing I could keep going and document more of our everyday life.
Then while reading Ali's blog I was introduced to project life and that was it! I totally fell in love with this concept of weekly accumulation of your everyday life it fit so well with what I was searching to do.
If you are just starting Project life or looking for to start this project you can start at the person who created this awesome idea ... Becky Higgins. Go check out her website and start what will become a part of your life.
We are currently into week 25 but I will be updating week by week here on my blog & hope to inspire and share the joy that Project life brings to me and my family. Happy reading :)
